I love Apocalytic stories and this is based on the grand-daddy of them all, The Omega Man.Marilynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04400749290040186210noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5583759.post-183780060807362622010-10-14T11:51:28.544-05:002010-10-14T11:51:28.544-05:00This book was an interesting take on the old vampi...This book was an interesting take on the old vampire legend. It even may look at the human condition in how we respond to horrible events and become monstrous ourselves.

CraigAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5583759.post-15012930828328361442010-09-09T05:56:42.665-05:002010-09-09T05:56:42.665-05:00I just wanted to comment that I too had some confu...I just wanted to comment that I too had some confusion and rereading about his wife and daughter. While it wasn't explicitly clear I didn't get the feeling he was taking his daughter to the fires. I thought he was going to bury here and they saw him and took the child. The time frame is unclear but since it is a memory I belief it was of little relevance. Glad you brought this up. Thought I was the only one who noticed this.Leadie Jo Flowersnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5583759.post-34965612615071437272010-09-01T23:20:59.920-05:002010-09-01T23:20:59.920-05:00Nicely put. To tell the truth, I hated vampires (thanks in no small part to Anne Rice), but this book knocked me off my feet.Scott A.
